How to Connect HubSpot to Selligence

Before proceeding with this guide, ensure that you meet the following prerequisites:

  1. You must be the account owner.
  2. You should have a private app already set up in HubSpot with an API key.
  3. You must have API permissions in your HubSpot account.


This knowledge base article will guide you through the process of connecting HubSpot to Selligence. Follow the steps below to integrate the two platforms and streamline your workflows.

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Log into Selligence: Open your web browser and navigate to the Selligence website. Enter your login credentials to access your account.
  2. Go to Manage Organisation: From the main dashboard, locate and click on the "Manage Organisation" tab.
  3. Click Integrations: In the Manage Organisation section, click on the "Integrations" option.
  4. Click Connect on HubSpot: Find the HubSpot integration card and click the "Connect" button. Be patient, as it may take a few seconds to load. Our team is working to improve this process.
  5. Turn off popup blockers: Ensure that popup blockers are disabled for the Selligence website, as the integration will open in a new popup window.
  6. Get your API key from HubSpot: Locate the API key you created in the previous guide. You'll need this to establish the connection between Selligence and HubSpot.
  7. Enter the API key: In the popup window, input the HubSpot API key.
  8. Enter HubSpot Username and Password: Provide your HubSpot username and password. Note that you must have administrative privileges in your HubSpot account.
  9. Click Next: After entering your credentials, click the "Next" button to proceed.
  10. Review field mappings: Carefully review the pre-configured field mappings between Selligence and HubSpot. Make any necessary changes to ensure data flows correctly between the two platforms.
  11. Click Finish: Once you're satisfied with the field mappings, click the "Finish" button to complete the integration process.


Adding User's Email Address to HubSpot Field in Account Settings:

To ensure that contacts are added under the correct name in Selligence, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Account Settings: From the main menu, click on the "Account" option.

  2. Locate the HubSpot Field: Find the field labeled "HubSpot" within your account settings.

  3. Enter your email address: Input the email address associated with your HubSpot account.

  4. Save Changes: After entering your email address, click the "Save" button to update your account settings. Be sure to wait for a green tick to show validating the connection
